Experience

Ilana is devoted to successfully litigating claims on behalf of consumers like you.

Over her 12 years of practice, Ilana Drescher has successfully resolved a wide array of class action, antitrust, and complex multidistrict litigation disputes. Prior to joining Hammond Law, Ilana was a partner at large, full-service law firm where she focused on representing plaintiffs in large-scale antitrust multidistrict litigations. Most recently, Ilana was on a trial team that secured a $267 million jury verdict for an electronics distributor—the largest jury verdict for a single antitrust opt-out plaintiff in US history. Ilana also represented fourteen major restaurants as plaintiffs in the ongoing Broiler Chicken Antitrust Litigation.

Ilana has an impressive track record of handling both the prosecution and defense of false advertising, deceptive labeling, and products liability class actions. She regularly counsels clients on high stakes complex commercial disputes in both state and federal court ranging from trade secret, contractual, confidentiality, defamation, and privacy claims.

Before entering private practice, Ilana served as a law clerk to Judge William Martini of the District of New Jersey and a law clerk in the Staff Attorney’s Office of the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.

Ilana earned her law degree from NYU School of Law, where she was an editor on the Journal of Legislation and Public Policy. Ilana earned her B.A., cum laude, at the University of Florida.

Ilana is admitted to practice in Florida and New York.
